MSEA-SEIU Local 1989
President Bruce Hodsdon personally invites any
MSEA-SEIU members, both currently working and
retired, who want to be considered for appointment
as MSEA-SEIU Board Secretary to contact him.
Interested candidates should send their resumes
to President
Hodsdon at MSEA-SEIU headquarters
by 5 PM Wednesday, July 21.
Kathy Latulippe recently resigned from this
appointed position. President Hodsdon expresses
his thanks to Kathy for her service in a difficult
job. President Hodsdon will appoint a new secretary
with approval from the Board as outlined in
our union's Constitution
and Bylaws. The secretary's
duties are to both record and take minutes of
MSEA-SEIU Board meetings and the annual Convention,
to also distribute those minutes, and to perform
other duties as determined by the Board. Most
union contracts provide administrative leave
for the MSEA-SEIU secretary to perform these
duties. The secretary receives an annual stipend
of $2,400. Click

duties.
