BARGAINING . . .![]() A union contract is the basic bill of rights for workers. In addition to spelling out wages, benefits and conditions of employment, the contract establishes the right of union members to work in an environment free of harassment, arbitrary discipline and other forms of unfair treatment. Negotiations are conducted by a team of rank and file members, led by an MSEA negotiator. But the key to a successful contract is the active support of the general membership. To learn more about the bargaining process, receive an update on current negotiations or how you can become involved in winning a better contract, either contact our negotiations staff at FAIR CONTRACT, or call 1-800-452-8794. |
