2019 MSEA-SEIU Scholarship winner Colleen Neumeyer

Colleen Neumeyer, a 2019 graduate of Cony High School and the daughter of MSEA-SEIU Director Jen Neumeyer of the Jay Poore/Richard West Chapter, won our union’s 2019 Howard L. Congratulations to the following winners of MSEA-SEIU scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year:

Richard J. McDonough Scholarship ($1,500): Dustin Simmons, son of John Simmons of the Local 1 Chapter, is attending Husson University in Bangor.

Howard L. Bowen Scholarship ($1,000): Colleen Neumeyer, daughter of Jennifer Neumeyer of the Jay Poor/Richard West Chapter, is attending St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Murray L. Brown Scholarship ($1000): Hannah LeCLair, daughter of Susan LeClair of the Eichel Crinion Chapter, is attending the University of Maine in Orono.

George A. Davala Scholarship ($1000): Ethan Tsomides, son of Peter A. Tsomides of the Cumberland Chapter, is attending the University of Maine in Orono.

Area I Community College Scholarship ($750): Nicholas Collins, son of Stanley L. Collins Jr. of the Local 1 Chapter,  is attending the University of Maine in Orono.

Area II Community College Scholarship ($750): Arthur Taylor, son of Pamela T. Ford-Taylor of the Kermit Nickerson Chapter,  is attending the University of Vermont in Burlington.

Area III Community College Scholarship ($750): Nathan J. Curtis, son of Lauren Curtis of the Eichel Crinion Chapter,  attending the University of Maine in Orono.

MSEA-SEIU Member Scholarship ($500): Nicolas Trebouet, a member of the Local 1 Chapter, is attending the University of Maine in Orono.
