Members at Turnpike Authority negotiating new contracts

MSEA-SEIU members on our Union Negotiating Team at the Maine Turnpike Authority report making steady progress in coalition bargaining with management for two new contracts and reconfigured bargaining units.

Currently members at the Turnpike Authority have two bargaining units. One is the Supervisory Unit; the other is the Employees Unit.

Under proposed reconfigured bargaining units and contracts, the maintenance workers and their supervisors would have one contract. The fare collectors, customer service employees and their supervisors would have one contract as well.

The Union Negotiating Team: Dawna Crockett, Abbey Crowell, Sandra Doyon, Mark Gustin, Bill Hartley, Deidre Kinney, Scott Lachance (lead member for Supervisors), Raymond Leach, Cal Paquet (lead member for Employees) and Jim Sotir.
